Couple of projects at Greenbank High School in Birkdale and The Hawthornes in Bootle. Both looking at getting some fresh new images for their websites and prospectus. Really enjoyed working with the children. Reflected in the pictures below.
For the past year I have been working with Riverside housing on their new marketing campaign. It has seen me visit over ninety schemes so far across the country. Down as far as Kettering,Leicester and Derby. Then along the East Lancs to Rochdale,Manchester and Wigan. The biggest project was in Merseyside last summer covering Liverpool,Wirral and Sefton.
The brief was to showcase each scheme meeting and photographing some of the residents along with capturing interiors and exteriors of individual flats and properties.
The organisation which went into the project was immense with a lot of planning beforehand.
It proved challenging but very rewarding meeting some great people and working with great staff.
Back in January, I had the pleasure of covering the opening of a new exhibition at the World Museum Liverpool. Titled “Eye for Colour” it had some amazing interactive features children could play with and use. Each teaching youngsters about colour and the impact it has in every day life. The Images would then be used by Liverpool Museums for social media, press and brochures.
Promoting the Children’s menu at Viva Brazil in Liverpool. I took my 4 year old son Charley down to model for me. His first ever professional photo shoot and he was brilliant. Even with staff watching on and helping,Charley was not fazed by any of the attention. The Images have been since used on the Viva Brazil website.
Some lovely photo shoots on behalf of the lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. The Lady Lever has undergone a £2.8 million refurbishment. One of the images featured in The Times Newspaper on page 17 on Feb 9th.
The Walker Art Gallery were previewing their latest exhibition, Pre-Raphaelites: Beauty and Rebellion. One of the images featured again in a national newspaper this time The Independent ran the story and picture.
Really enjoyed both photo shoots and its brilliant to see my work featured in The Times and Independent too. Great publicity for both Art Galleries!
A busy start to 2016 has seen me travel across the North of the UK photographing some lucky individuals who have won via the National Lottery. Commissioned by Influential PR via Camelot. I have travelled so far to Grimsby, Rochdale, Stockport, Warrington and Blackpool. Photographing some really lovely winners. New Years Day saw me travel to Warrington and feature Reindeer, a fake snow machine, a Sleigh and a Husky Dog! Then we have Teresa pictured on Blackpool promenade with her delighted daughters. Andy and Natalie sharing a passionate moment at the top of Blackpool Tower. A range for Newspapers have used the images including BBC, ITV and BT.com.
